Dutch Van Alstyne- Owner, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, Muay Thai Coach, and Kyokushin Black Belt.

I began training martial arts when I was five years old so it has always been a big part of my life. The first black belt I received was in Kyokushin Karate. I then went on to compete in many amateur boxing matches. After that I began training kickboxing, then Muay Thai, then MMA. I started to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2008 and was an assistant instructor under Fabricio Werdum at Werdum Combat Team. I then relocated to Big Bear in 2013 where I became the head striking coach at Big Bear Jiu Jitsu. Afterwards I was the head BJJ & striking coach at Big Bear Grappling club from 2016-2021 and received my black belt from Master Renato Magno in November of 2019.

I am currently head Striking and Advanced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor of Ace Performance Training and run the business alongside Jessica.

I enjoy spending time with the family, training, going shooting, collecting swords and firearms, travel, walking the dogs, researching martial history, and online gaming.
